A short video from our recent snowboarding trip to Tremblant, Québec. You should watch it. It has cuddly dogs and deer, snowboarding and girls in bikinis.
I had a great week snowboarding in Breckenridge. I took a few videos that I’ll put together soon. In the meantime here is a teaser.
Snowboarding Tip 1: Watch out for trees. Hitting your ribs when you are 3.75km up with low oxygen isn’t smart. Ouch! Weeze!
The GAA has been making some fantastic promos this year but the one for the All-Ireland hurling Final replay is the best one yet. Big games on a Saturday evening. Proper blood thumping build up. None of the usual “kids on daddys shoulders”, nostalgic stuff. I wonder is the GAA shifting focus towards young adults over families? I hope so! Saturday night games are the job.
I did a Mud Hero race over the weekend. It was good fun. Makes me think I might want to take up more of these races in the future. Maybe even a Tough Mudder. I hate running but when you add obstacles it’s a lot more fun.
I went camping with a bunch of friends this weekend. Great weather and a great location. It’s a pity the summer is coming to a close because it would’ve been great to fit another one in.
It’s a weird feeling. I’ve been sent to Cork for work for a week. I’m staying in a hotel and I am essentially a tourist in my own city. But hey, I couldn’t think of a better place to visit! I managed to meet up with a good few people over the weekend for drinks. Here is a short video of it.
A quick video from the couple of days we spent snowboarding at Blue Mountain this week. Nice place. Loads of places to stay and some nice bars. Including an Irish bar stocked with chocolate and crisps (chips) from home. We had the odd drink as well.
Took the camera out snowboarding yesterday. This is what happened…….
A short video from the house party we went to for New Years Eve. It was a good one.
The inability to signal is a common problem in Canada. It really shows and overall lack of awareness and respect for other road users. And it’s dangerous as demonstrated by this video which was taken in one day.
Awareness of your surroundings and how your actions affect other road users is severely lacking in Canada.
