FYI, I got this working on Ubuntu Lucid (10.4) by adding this ppa: https://launchpad.net/~jason-scheunemann/+archive/ppa and doing a

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install lib32stdc++5′

The bad news is that it seems the .wrf file format has evolved. When I run the webex player and point it to the file I want to view it alerts me: ‘Unknown file format. You may update your Webex player and try again.’

I could’nt be more wrong? Thats rich coming from a Garda reserve wannabe. Think about it, I got the Garda reserve and I agree with JB so maybe you need to re-think your strategy. JB did all the voluntary stuff, thats what he was trying to say but none of you could read between the lines. He (and I) just had no idea so much of the interview would hinge on things like that. You could be the best volunteer in your local community but unless you have law enforcement experience you will be useless in a riot and may even get yourself seriously hurt so just like JB said, you would think that along with helping in your community there would be a certain level of law enforcement experience required…………………………………….Think about it.

You couldn’t be more wrong Stacey.

While I don’t believe Sean’s point about JB being ‘power hungry’, I do feel strongly that JB’s comment regarding ‘helping old ladies cross the street and donating to charity’ displays that he doesn’t have much regard for voluntary work in the community. He’s already said that if he knew what it involved he wouldn’t have bothered…..so, why *is* he bothering?

you mite wanna mention something bout mark ellis starting for cork intermediates thurs nite 22-07-10 against waterford mark also cork u21′s and duhallow u21′s who won county u21 hurling(same team as lorcan mcloughlin,aidan walsh,william egan all played for cork seniors)but fair play for a millstreet hurler.you can support them again instead of dillons

Hi all, I am a Garda reserve and I have a message for you all. Firstly, ARHONDA BEND its you who will never be a Garda with that attitude. Judging someone before you know them. Secondly, JAMES BOND you are actually right. I have over 15 years law enforcement experience but the Garda reserve didnt care one bit about any of it. All they care about is what voluntary work I had done within my community. Stick with it, you will get in. SEAN, I tell you exactly the same as I told Arhonda Bend above. Judging people you dont even know is a sure way of making sure you never get the guards or if you do get in you will be an awful Garda. To ALAN IGOE, This site is about the Garda reserve not just for people who want to get in or are in favour of it. Best of luck to you all.
