Labour Day Weekend
Relatively busy weekend this weekend. Went to Canada’s Wonderland, went bowling in the 5-pin bowling lanes in our Condo, watched the All-Ireland Hurling Final and went for a few drinking downtown.

A short video showing some of the beautiful weather we’ve gotten in Canada since we moved over.
I made a short video with a few random images and clips from our first month in Canada. I actually have 25 minutes worth of stuff so I’m going to break it into a few videos, of which this is the first. We spent most of the month just finding our way around so the clips are a bit random as there was no big event or anything like that. Still enjoy the sights of Canada with a few Irish related clips thrown in for good measure.
I let off some small fireworks over the weekend. Fireworks are illegal in Ireland so we went up a mountain where we wouldn’t be seen. There was quite an echo through the Glens though.
Myself and Lorri will be in Canada soon. I made this video, during an admittedly quiet weekend, to prepare my Canadian friends for the epicness of our arrival. :-) Best with sound
When I move to Canada I think I’ll miss driving on Irish Roads in the Spring.
Visited the small fun fair in Blackpool today. It could’ve been taken straight out if Fr. Ted.
Went out for drinks with a few people for the St. Patrick’s Festival in Cork. My last Paddy’s in Ireland for a while. Here’s a video montage of who was there.
There was a snow day in work today so I took the opportunity to head into Toronto. I didn’t feel comfortable driving in the snow so I took public transport. Which might not have been the best idea. The bus ended up getting stuck in the snow the next stop after mine. We had to get off and get onto another bus which crashed into a snow bank. The third bus I got was to the train station so I took the train into Toronto after that.
Looking at the roads as I was passing they didn’t look to bad. Reading the paper on the train I realised why.
Once in Toronto it was pretty cold. But I discovered that nearly every building is linked underground by an HUGE underground system (28km long). So they have 28km of shops and business underground. Amazing. It’s called path.
When the nuclear winter comes I know where I’d like to be living.
Here are some pics I took yesterday and today.

Went for a few drinks last night for Christmas. Here are some pictures and a video from the night.
