I finally had some time to spend on my site today.

I’ve removed my hosted Gallery and linked instead to my pictures on Google Picasa. Now that I am getting into Google Plus all pictures I upload to Google Plus will be automatically uploaded to Picasa. As a result I’ve created a new page called Photos which links directly to my Picasa Albums

Also I’ve done the same for my YouTube videos. I’ve created a new page called Videos which automatically links to my YouTube videos.

So the content on this blog should now be as up to date as the content on my Facebook, Google+ and Twitter.

Just weighed myself for a work weight loss challenge. I am 85 Kilos (186 Pounds). I’ve put on 14 Kilos (30 pounds) since I got to Canada! That’s a jump from Lightweight to Light Heavyweight. Time to hit the gym and cut back on the Poutine I think.

Can you the believe the guy actually survived this! Lucky!

The man reportedly was speeding at more than 100 mph when he hit a guardrail, went airborne and slammed into an overpass. The car broke into three pieces and threw him from the wreckage. The dashboard-mounted camera in a police cruiser caught the spectacular crash.

I’ve been doing a couple of sites for a Friend of mine who also happens to be my MMA instructor. RebelMMA and KenHealyFitness. They aren’t so much blogs as advertising websites. As a result I wanted to make the static pages jump out, whereas the blogging function should be hidden a little further into the site. I still wanted to use WordPress though as it’s already running on my server. So I had a dig around and found it was actually easy to move the blog away from the front page. Now on those sites when you vist them you get a static front page and you have to navigate to the blog.

I’m trying to book my NCT online and the stupid website doesn’t work. It says there are no free days in any centre in Ireland for the next 10 years. Why have online booking if it doesn’t work? If it was a private company it’d be out of business. Stuppid inept public sector.

I was at MMA training this morning at 12. I’d say it was my first time training on a Saturday since I was 16. Great craic though.

I was reading this great article explaining why people enjoy fighting so much. Maybe that’s why I don’t mind making the effort.

I’m wrecked from training all week so I am going to stay in this weekend. I’m going to save my money, and liver, for Paddy’s Day. Since Lorri is gone home for the weekend I am going to spend some quality time with Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. If anybody wants to join me at any time my gamer tag is thesraid.

In the cinema waiting for the movie to start. I came way to early so I’m playing with my phone.
