Welcome to the 21st century USA! Today it looks like the US has followed the rest of the civilised world and decided to allow its citizens access to health care. I will admit I do not know the ends and outs of the details but to me it looks like a move in the right direction. I cannot understand how a person would allow another to have a reduced quality of life just because they think it’s socialist. Hey Socialism is good. Ireland is socialist as is most of Europe. Most of the counties in Europe have world beating health care systems. I mean France and Italy are regarded as having the best health-care in the World.

Good thing it happened in the states.
You pay for it in Europe though .. 3 grand a year for health insurance in Germany, 1100 a year in the Netherlands. Theres also a chunk of your income tax goes to health insurance. May be good but its damn pricey !!!
Also .. I wouldn’t class Italy as having good health care, they have ‘good hospitals’ but it varies from REALLY good .. to tremendously bad.. mainly between the Industrialised North and the Depressed south.
