UFC 105/106
Watched the UFC over the weekend. It was great that it was on in Europe so I didn’t have to stay up until stupid o’clock to see it. It wasn’t the most exciting UFC and I was disappointed with all of the results, except for the main event. Every fighter I was cheering for, except Randy Couture, lost.
I was especially upset that Kang didn’t finish Bisping in round one and that Swick had such a poor showing against Hardy. Who I think is a really over-rated fighter. I still think he lost against Davis.
Anyway at least I won’t have to wait long for another UFC. UFC is on this weekend in the US. Unfortunately that means either staying up to watch it, or catching the repeat on Sunday. I think I’ll wait for Sunday to get it on ESPN. I’m thinking of getting rid of ESPN though. They have very little UFC coverage during the week. unlike Setanta which even had their own show. MMA Live, ESPNS show, only seems to be on at 00:30. Some of us have work in the morning!
I’d be great if Setanta got the rights back again but I have very little hope that’ll happen.
Looking forward to Tito vs. Griffen II. Hopefully Griffen can pull it out. Also I’m hoping Koschek can have an exciting fight against Johnson. Isn’t it obvious I was a TUF 1 fan!
