Finally got to see the Dunne fight

I finally got to see the Bernard Dunne fight yesterday. Streamed it off the RTÉ.ie website onto my TV. What a great fight. I am disgusted that I missed it. Couldn’t even watch it on TV. Some fight though. Dunnes fitness is unreal. I think that’s what won it for him in the end. He just exhausted Cordoba.

If you want to see the fight you can see it here on the RTÉ.ie website. They use crappy Realplayer though.

So what did you and your readers think of Katie Taylor’s performance against Caroline Barry of U.S.A then? I thought it was great that an Irish audience, both at 02 and on Live TV/Internet worldwide got to see their World Champion in action. For the great majority it was the first time they have seen her in action. I believe that this is available also now via live streaming including on AOL video ….Katie clearly won and won very convincingly though I do think the judges were too harsh on the American champion who deserved a few more points than she was awarded….

Yeah she was well up for it alright wasn’t she. The American girl I mean. She was fired up. I suppose it was a big stage for here as well. But Katie was awesome, I had never seen her fight before and i was blown away. Hopefully she get the stage to show off her skills in London.
