Fecking builders! Just a few more months now and I will be able to build my house for a third of what I would have paid a year ago! :D So whats changed, materials costs? No, just their fee! Costs like 100K to build a house and 200K for them to build it for you!

I agree, being a builders son myself as well. Although to be fair to the man my father never pinched pennies. The opposite in fact he put too much pride in his work and was undercut by your sleeping builder type with 20 Polish guys working for him.
I just hope when the economy slows down sleepy builder and those like him don’t turn into raving racists because they are unable to find work as 20 Polish men have already filled the position.

In the estate next to mine, that I frequently walk through, I see a few building works going on in the houses. For every house I see a car out front with an Irish looking builder guy in his car either asleep or reading the paper whilst I hear banging and Polish being spoken in the background!

You see who is the problem here?

Being a builders son I know that most builders are penny pinchers and will cut any corner they see..
