Cork County Champions no longer select Captain
Well Cork have finally got rid of that outdated model where the County Champions pick the Captain. You have seen through the years guys who are not perhaps the most natural Captains in the team, or even guys who struggle to make the first team, being Captain. This way the best man for the job should get it.
From what I have heard down the years Donal Óg would seem to be the natural leader of the team. So it is only right he gets the job of leading them. But regardless of who gets it now we can be confident the best man for the job will get it.
